# Pastebin vzh8zGKr Starting at midnight GMT (figure out what time that is for yourself, you scrub), we'll start writing our article. If you can't make it for that time, contact Rimple and he'll sort something out. - There is no set idea. - There is no set ending. - There may be a short intro as a framing device. This is a BLACK QUEENS JOKE ARTICLE. As such, at the start there will be a role call where you will state your Black Queen code name and a text colour formatted in hex. We'll also allow some typing gimmicks, /especially if they're actually funny/. Shitty examples of this would be like Black Queen Raven, who speaks in quote blocks, or Black Queen Mobilefucker, who speaks in footnotes. Comic sans will be awarded to one person at random. We will not tell you in advance of posting that you're the comic sans queen. If you would like to opt out of the comic sans raffle, feel free to contact Rimple so he can laugh at you and add your name into the pool a couple extra times. If you arrive after the role call, or were afk and skipped, introduce yourself and mention your hex colour in your first line. Order will proceed alphabetically. To show that you know it is your turn and you're typing your line, send a "..." message into chat. If you have not sent a "..." within 1 minute of the previous queen posting their line, you will be pinged. A minute after this with no response, you will be skipped. IF you came back later you will get a chance to add lines. Some guidelines: - Try to keep up with what's been written so far as the article proceeds, and think about the sort of thing you might add. This will keep things moving, and hopefully improve consistency. If you haven't been keeping up and know you'll hold the process up reading what came before, tell us to skip you and well get back to your go once you're on top of things. - Be funny. This is a joke skip, and one with a fair bit of chaos baked into its being, and we're going to lean into that. - Counterpoint to the previous, don't try TOO HARD to be funny. If you can write a line that furthers the reader's understanding of the nature of the anomaly, or simply jog along some dialogue without being too disruptive, feel free to. You don't need to stick out and be the funniest queen. - DON'T DERAIL. It's funny to throw in a comment that will totally throw everything off, but it'll unnecessarily pad things out. We don't want this thing concise, exactly, but we want to avoid stuff getting boring. - No memes, in-jokes etc. Seriously. If it's not funny on its own two feet, it's not staying in. Once we've run through every chat member once, we'll pause for a bit and talk about how to proceed. Stuff that should be developed more, ways to edit the article for more clarity/humour, etc. The we'll PROBABLY go through the roster again, but with everyone allowed to add a line wherever they want. The process for this is part of what we'll discuss. Once that's done, we'll (probably) be finished with our first draft. Everyone gets to walk away happy. Rimple will compile the whole thing into a formatted draft in a new sandbox, with colours and gimmicks and stuff. WE AREN'T COLDPOSTING THIS. It'll be shown to people who weren't involved for feedback, and it will be edited accordingly. If we take out a line you added, or edit it, please don't take it personally. You're still a co-author. In the event that you ended up having everything you wrote cut out, let Rimple know and we'll figure out a way to properly include you. When the skip is posted(expect it sometime on Sunday or Monday), we'll send out tells to all involved. Rimple's author post will include a cast list (contributors and their Black Queen code name), but everyone involved is encouraged to make their own author post as if they were the sole author of the piece. Be as stupid as you want. Vote honestly on the article - if you feel the final product was lacking, downvote, if you liked it then upvote. If everyone involved avoided voting we'd have like three votes. Uh, yeah. If there's anything that's unclear here, talk to Rimple about it and we'll do a quick edit.
