aerozol: To fix your PR, you can follow the steps as follows:

Check out the master branch and create a new branch based on it. You can use the GitHub Desktop client for all this.

Right click on your commit where you only added the guidelines and select cherry-pick.

Cherry pick it to the new branch you made on step 1.

Now force push the new branch to your PR branch which is master in this case(try to avoid working on master in future directly)
