Concerning the #SpaceX IRC channel. 

All are welcome into the channel for this launch. We however have a few requirements to avert as much spam as possible. 

Registering Nick on Esper 

To claim ownership of your nickname, you can register it with NickServ.
Registration is simple. You must send a MSG to NickServ consisting of "REGISTER password e-mail", replacing 'password' with your desired password and 'e-mail' with your e-mail address:


	1.	You MUST register with Nickserv on Esper, failing to do so means you can't join the channel as we are locking out unregistered users. 
	2.	Please don't choose a Nick (screen name) that has vulgarity, lewd, or spammy connotation. Examples of this are "RiverofSplooge" or "Hitlerdidnothingwrong" or even "kjahshdiekfnfk" or other random word nicks. Violation of this will result in a kick with a warning.
	3.	While in the channel, please refrain from giving a play-by-play of the launch livestream. This is potentially confusing to users because we can be out of sync. So no "10 seconds!" Or anything of that sort. Some celebration is allowed of course so don't feel too oppressed. 
	4.	No memes. No emoji. No Unicode emoticon spam. 
	5.	Calling false events for the launch such as "Hold!" Or "boom!" Will result in an instant, irrevocable ban. If there is an accident, just stay quiet so we can see what happened. 
	6.	When you ask questions, try to put some effort into finding the answer for yourself. There is no such thing as a stupid question but just try a quick Google search first 
	7.	Be civil. For the love of God. Be civil. 
	8.	In all things, channel Operators' decisions are final. If you have a problem, PM one of us.
