What we don't want is for Bright to embrace the necklace, since that would sort of muddy everything thematically.

We can have Bright fight himself over whether he should embrace his anomalousness and become a tool for the Foundation or attempt to find happiness outside of it. If he chooses the first option, he'd be nearly unstoppable, but if he chooses the second option, he might have a chance to finally become happy. And him choosing to put his happiness first, knowing that he probably knows too much and
