                      - applied-with-bug: module inserted but kernel BUG detected
                      - nothing-to-apply: no livepatch packages needed for this kernel or none available
                      - apply-failed: the application caused a crash last time it was applied, check system logs for more information
                      - unknown: this is a catch-all state and indicates an error
