Hi, I was wondering if you had decided who you're giving the VHS tapes to.

I'm aware that one of the people that has asked for them is someone running a private torrent tracker called MySpleen. It would sadden me to see all of this historical material go to an individual that won't make the materials public and likely won't keep the physical tapes after digitizing them. The Internet Archive would make it publicly available to everyone, on their site, without ads, for free. They also have a great reputation for digitizing stuff in a manner that produces the highest possible quality end result, it's not very predictable how the quality would be if it was given to an individual.
