Regarding /r/SpaceX and the IRC (Meta)


We (the Esper IRC #SpaceX Ops) are in a bit of a tight position with the current situation between SnooX, EsperX, and the Subreddit. But, I want to get a few things out of the way first. 

1. The Sub mods are entirely within their right to move the official IRC for their subreddit to Snoo.IRC. 
2. It is not right to harass or name-call any specific moderator regarding the choice. 
3. We (Esper Ops) have no power over the situation other than continue to moderate our current channel. 

We had temporarily asked you all to refrain from discussing it, as there were some hot-heads on all sides of the discussion. But saying a certain moderator has mental problems is NOT tolerable under any circumstance. 

Pending further discussion and coming RTF, the situation for now is as follows: 

1. The official /r/SpaceX IRC is on Snoonet, access to that channel is on the Sub Sidebar. 
2. The Esper channel is not going anywhere, as of now, it is still the most active channel. 
3. There is currently no plan on reversing the decision. 
4. Out of respect to our friends from Reddit, Zucal, ZLSA and co. will retain their Ops powers in Esper, pending further developments. 

The rules are simple:

1. Civil discussion and inquiry about the meta is allowed, according to Op discretion. 
    1. We do ask that detailed inquiry be directed to the Subreddit mods either via PM or Modmail.
