This Code of Conduct extends the MetaBrainz code of conduct [link], which applies to all MetaBrainz projects. Please read the MetaBrainz Code of Conduct before you dive into the following guidelines that are specific to MusicBrainz.

- Content has to be a 'review' or a otherwise genuine reflection on the entity
- No copying from other websites [what if they're claiming to be the original author?]
- No promotional material [do we allow reviews that are actual 'reviews' but obviously biased/promo motivated?]
- No reviewing your own releases [?]
- No embedding url's for SEO purposes [? to some degree is it fine to allow someone to link to, for instance, their review website?]
- No personal criticisms of a person or group of people (aka no defamation)
- No sockpuppets/using multiple accounts to post reviews or ratings

A lot of these are grey areas, and ultimately up to admin - "we'll know it when we see it".
